Dr. Hai Dong (董海) is a Lecturer at Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering in RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He is Research Coordinator of the SCSLab. Prior to this position, he worked as a Vice-Chancellor’s Research Fellow in RMIT University and a Curtin Research Fellow in Curtin University of Technology. He received a PhD  from Curtin University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University (China). His research interests include service-oriented computing, semantic search, cloud computing, IoT, and data science. He has published over 70 research publications in international journals and conferences, such as CACM, CCPE, FGCS, KBS, JCSS, JNCA, TIE, TII, TSC, WWWJ, ICONIP, ICSOC, ICWS, WISE, etc. He has obtained competitive research funding valued at over 1 million AUD. He received the Best Research Paper Award in ICSOC 2016. He has served as a committee chair or PC member for over 20 international conferences, such as ICSOC, etc. He has served as a reviewer for over 20 International journals, such as CCPE, DKE, DPD, IEEE IC, IJCIS, ISF, JNCA, KAIS, KBS, SCP, TFS, TIE, TII, TITB, TNSM, TOIT, TSC, WWWJ, etc. He is a member of the ACM and the IEEE.
